NFL on Nickelodeon once again! This time it's the Chargers vs. the Texans in a Wild Card game. Once again I was responsible for the instant replay transition, reworking the one used for the Super Bowl. I also worked on a concept for the Line of Scrimmage/First Down Line animating on like Transformers. The iconic Squidward Looking out the Window meme gets new life in 3D. I built this scene to be used as an overlay on celebration shots, as Squidward sulks in the shadows.
This also marks the first time I worked on the Live Broadcast team on the day of the game. We prepared a robust toolkit so that when given shots from the live broadcast, we could Nickify them (throw on some quick Nickelodeon graphics), and turn around the shot within 10 minutes. Hectic but fun!
